The GT2000 system is unique handheld trackable satellite phone that has been developed by Geonix to allow users to track, monitor and communicate (by voice, data and text) with their key mobile assets (trucks, cars, delivery vans, containers, personnel, military vehicles etc) when travelling both within GSM coverage and under the footprint of the Thuraya satellite
The system uses a separate advanced, accurate GPS processor to acquire the asset’s exact position on the earth’s surface, and then transmit this along with other relevant information via either the local cellular network infrastructure (where coverage exists) or via the Thuraya satellite system -- direct to your or our monitoring centre
